Liz Berg recently studied songwriting with member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Holly Knight. Knight has written such major hits as Tina Turner’s, “(Simply) The Best,” Pat Benatar’s, “Love is a Battlefield,” and Scandal’s, “The Warrior.” Berg calls studying with Knight “life-changing.”

Who is Liz Berg?
Liz Berg is Chicago’s premiere female musician! In addition to being a songwriter, she has her own mobile music school in the Western suburbs. She is one the most coveted wedding performer/DJ(s) in the state. She manages and performs with a super fun 80s band, The Jolly Ringwalds and is one half of the popular acoustic covers duo, The Acoustic Generation. She owns her own music company and can provide entertainment of all kinds to clubs, restaurants and organizations.
Liz Berg has set out on a mission to write songs for kids that are equally enjoyable to adults and that are fun, positive and informative.
“Grandma, Thank You,” is basically a love letter and celebration of grandmothers all over the word and is Liz Berg’s first kid’s song single.
