Liz Berg is widely known in the Chicago area as one of the best and highly-credentialed musicians around.
In addition to playing 8 instruments and running her own music school in the Chicago suburbs, Liz Berg performs more than 150 shows a year and has performed more than 3,000 shows in total.
She is one of only 32,000 people who can vote annually on the prestigious Grammy Awards. She has had many original compositions licensed for TV on such notable shows such as House Hunters and Flip or Flop. Berg studied songwriting with Holly Knight, who has written such rock anthems as (Simply) The Best, The Warrior and Love is a Battlefield.
Berg started a YouTube channel in 2022 called Smarts and Entertainment, which is focused on music interviews, concert clips, reviews and performances. Her interview with the former lead singer of Skid Row has garnered more than 40,000 views and was shared on Skid Row’s official twitter account.
In addition to Berg’s solo and duo performances, she manages and performs regularly with the Jolly Ringwalds, Saddle Shoe Sisters and Galway Gals.
